Day 1: Arrival in Rome
Benvenuto a Roma! Welcome to the Eternal City! After you settle into your hotel, take some time to relax or explore the city’s remarkable sights. In the evening, gather for a safety briefing, followed by a delectable welcome dinner in a traditional Italian trattoria. Prepare to dive into the magic of Italy from the very first bite!
Day 2: From Rome to Civitavecchia, Ferry to Olbia
We kick off the adventure early with a thrilling ride from Rome to the port city of Civitavecchia. Buckle up for a scenic journey along the famous Tiburtina and SS636 roads, taking in the charm of Tivoli, the ancient hilltop village of Fara in Sabina, and the stunning Lago di Bracciano. With the sparkling Tyrrhenian Sea as your backdrop, we’ll board the ferry to Olbia, setting sail for Sardinia! The fun is just beginning!
Day 3: From Olbia to Alghero
Sardinia's beauty unfolds as we head from Olbia to Alghero, crossing Tempio Pausania, Valle della Luna, and the fortified village of Castelsardo. The highlights are unforgettable: the stunning cliffs of Stintino and the vertigo-inducing Grotte di Nettuno. Alghero, a historic gem with Catalan influences, will captivate you with its ancient streets and rich heritage. Wrap up the day with a fresh seafood feast at a local trattoria!
Day 4: From Alghero to Cala Gonone
Today, we ride along Sardinia’s breathtaking coastline, past the colorful houses of Bosa and the majestic Serravalle Castle. Next stop: Santu Lussurgiu, followed by the impressive Nuraghe Losa, one of the island's most beautiful archaeological sites. As we travel through the rugged Gennargentu mountains, we'll reach the murals of Orgosolo, a village steeped in history and art. A true day of discovery!
Day 5: From Cala Gonone to Cagliari, Ferry to Palermo
Prepare for an exhilarating ride along Sardinia’s SS125 East Coast, a road that will give you a spine-tingling thrill with every twist and turn. After an amazing journey, we’ll arrive in Cagliari and board the night ferry to Palermo. You’ll fall in love with Sardinia’s rugged beauty as you savor the unforgettable views before setting sail for the next chapter!
Day 6: From Palermo to Bagheria and Back
Start the day with a delicious breakfast, then we’ll conquer the hairpin turns up Mount Pellegrino, visit the stunning Santa Rosalia sanctuary, and enjoy panoramic views of Mondello Bay. A stop at Monreale Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is an absolute must! Afterward, we'll indulge in a delightful lunch in Bagheria and a scenic coffee break in Porticello before returning to Palermo.
Day 7: From Palermo to Agrigento
A ride through the heart of Sicily awaits as we journey through Piana degli Albanesi, stopping to sample the world-famous cannoli. We’ll explore the forgotten corners of Sicily—Corleone, Palazzo Adriano, and Prizzi—before arriving in Agrigento. Prepare to be awestruck as we visit the Valle dei Templi, one of Sicily’s most iconic and UNESCO-listed sites!
Day 8: From Agrigento to Noto
Today’s ride takes us through the spectacular Valle dei Templi and Villa Romana del Casale, showcasing some of Sicily’s most important archaeological treasures. After exploring, we’ll take a sweet detour to Modica for a taste of chocolate from the legendary Antica Cioccolateria Bonajut. We’ll end the day in Noto, a stunning baroque gem perched on a hilltop overlooking the Asinaro Valley. Heaven on earth!
Day 9: From Noto to Taormina
This day is full of surprises as we ride along the coast to the charming fishing village of Marzamemi and the picturesque Portopalo di Capo Passero, the southernmost point of Italy. Then, we’ll visit the ancient city of Siracusa, where the Archaeological Park of Neapolis and the magical island of Ortigia await. As the day ends, we’ll head toward Taormina, where the dramatic views of Mount Etna will take your breath away!
Day 10: Rest Day in Taormina
Taormina is the perfect place to unwind and recharge. Soak up the sun, explore the ancient Greco-Roman theatre, and enjoy the beautiful beaches. You’ll have the whole day to relax, do some shopping in the charming alleys, or perhaps take a stroll to the famous Isola Bella. This beautiful town, with its vibrant atmosphere and panoramic views, is truly the crown jewel of Sicily!
Day 11: From Taormina to Catania, Ferry to Salerno
Today’s adventure leads us to Mount Etna, Europe’s highest active volcano! After taking the cable car and special 4x4 vehicles to the summit, you’ll marvel at the unspoiled landscapes of this natural wonder. Then, we’ll head to Catania for a ferry ride back to the mainland, ending the day with an unforgettable journey on the water.
Day 12: From Salerno to Rome
Our final day takes us along the jaw-dropping Amalfi Coast, where steep cliffs and crystal-clear waters create a picture-perfect landscape. We’ll visit the charming seaside villages of Vietri, Ravello, Positano, and Amalfi, each more stunning than the last. After soaking in the beauty of the Mediterranean, we’ll hit the highway and head back to Rome, taking in the sights of Pompeii and the lively streets of Naples along the way.
Day 13: Departure
After breakfast, it’s time to say arrivederci to Italy! Transfer to the airport for your flight, carrying with you unforgettable memories of an incredible journey across two stunning islands and the Amalfi Coast. Until next time!
